In the U.S.A. he has played and/or recorded with Winton Fellder(jazz crusaders) Mailto Correa, Richie Colle, Don Menza, All Jarreau, Rick Martin, Billy Trasser, Diana Diaz, Mark Berrett, Tommy Thompson, Ed Macketa, Bob Long, Sarah Montes, Paul Dorge, Moses Hazan, Island Spice, among others. Currently living in Las Vegas - Nevada - U.S.A. since 1993 Aziz has played in major casinos including , Bellagio(house band 1999- 2000.), Caezar’s Palace(pool side house band), Mandalay Bay - Four Seasons, Mirage, Venetian, Paris, MGM(poll side house band), Balli’s, Aladin, Riviera, New York-New York, Rio, Luxor, Tropicana(house band 2001-2002), TI, Wynn, Flamingo and Las Vegas Hilton, Planet Hollywood(house band 2008), and Golden Gate(house band 1995-1999), he teaches privately, performs with the best and brightest Las Vegas has to offer, and has a busy recording schedule. Extensive recording experiences led to Aziz’s appearance on over 200 albuns in Brazil, Italy and U.S.A. Television work includes international and national commercials recorded for companies such as Nestle, General Motors, Fuji Film, Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, and others, working for producers Tomas Roth and Lua Nova Productions, The Studio, Julio Caesar, Luis Orquestra and the great Passarinho. Aziz has toured Europe, South America, North America and Asia , playing in famous venues such as the Olympia in Paris , Sistina theater in Rome, Estoril in Lisbon, Monte Carlo Sport Club in Monaco, Monumental in Spain, and Four Seasons in Tokio among others. In Los Angeles his appearances include highly respected clubs such as Catalina’s , Le Caffe and the La Ve Lee jazz club were he was the house drummer for a year. Aziz teaching experience includes several Music Schools, and teaching private classes in Italy and U.S.A. Among his students in Brazilian rhythms is the great Graham Lear, Carlos Santana’s drummer for 11 years. Currently with a limit of 20 students, he has a 6 months students waiting list . Aziz is the author of the books and instructional videos Secrets of Samba, and Playing the Congas - Basic, and is working on 2 new books and an Instructional video.A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Aziz received musical training in drums and percussion at the Conservatory of Music Meyrelles in Brazil. Also studied piano, harmony, arrangement, and composition with Professor Joao Goddoy, and privately with teachers in Brazil and U.S.A..
